Brian Christopher Donovan

Ph.D. Candidate

Brian is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Chemical Engineering department, where he is co-advised by Dr. West & Dr. Urban. As an NSF GRFP Fellow, he conducts research focused on applying XRD in addition to computational methods such as DFT to characterize minerals critical to the electrochemical industry. Before Columbia, Brian graduated from UC San Diego with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a B.S. in Probability & Statistics.
